No PP faction for miners?

I've totally avoided Powerplay so far, although I would be tempted to sign up to someone if they give a bonus to miners.

Something to consider perhaps?

Personally I found myself leaning towards Senator Zemina Torval for mining. Although I've sadly not had much time to properly consider the options.

Torval isn't good for mining since she decreases the payout of minerals due to owning a mining corporation and saturating the market. Makes it odd that she offers a mining laser but decreases mining profit. Mahon is the best bet for mining due to the trading profit increases. Even though all of his exploit bonuses are for agriculture, his rank bonuses boost trade, which in turn boosts minerals profit.

I thought that was only in Federation or Alliance aligned systems?. Of course I may be wrong.

Makes me wonder who would be the best Empire aligned power to back in this case

I don't know maybe the ED devs should make a faction for miners named for example Jameson 315 or shorter version James 315
In another game is the best for all the hisec miners.
