so the update removed the quills from the female jp3 raptor which is good, but also got rid of them on the male version which is bad. I hope this gets fixed soon...

Tangentially related, but the devs should really re-add the alternative skins from Return to Jurassic Park, it would be really neat to see in place with the new randomized cosmetics!

I saw this on the subreddit and it's early yet. They haven't all woken up to get super ragey about it yet. LOL
Anyway, the JP3 male and female raptors share a model. So, when they changed the female it changed the male. They need to fix it soon. I imagine they can do it in a simple patch. They had the models right in the first game. I don't know. But the update is great and added stuff in. It's not perfect obviously. But it's a good update so far.

This. If you look under the game files you'll see there is only one model for Velociraptor 2001. They need to be two separate models.
Not sure why they weren't two separate models to begin with especially when they got it right in the first game.
Smells a bit like corner-cutting to meet the holiday deadline to me.
I've reported this to the team.
Quick update: The quills disappearing was unintended. The team is looking into it!
