No railings on elevated paths

I know there's probably an easy way to do this, but I've been searching and searching and can't find how to do this. How can you do elevated paths with NO RAILINGS? This is driving me crazy.

If you're playing in Windows (don't know about Mac or console) and you go into Paths Advanced Settings ( lower right > Paths button > tab on the far right of the path controls box, marked with a dots'n'lines graphic ) and scroll down, the next-to-the-last checkbox is "Railing on Elevated", uncheck it.

On Console, go to the Paths tab and select More Settings, that is where you can change No Railing on Elevated Paths.
