Powerplay No reward for killing enemies that interdict you within your own factions systems????

Why do I not get 10 merits for blowing up Enemy ships that interdict me within OUR powerplay factions space?

If I go to their systems and kill them I get 30 merits.
If I go to an expansion system (for Arissa) and kill them at the Crime Sweeps, I get 10 merits.

If I get CONSTANTLY HARASSED by interdictions even in the HQ system of my powerplay faction I get 200 credits bounty and NO merits.

Seriously... this needs to change.

+10 Merits should be awarded for destroying enemy faction ships that interdict you within your own powerplay factions systems.

Sick and tired of being interdicted by these clowncars and get absolutely no reward for snuffing them out of their miserable existence.
 
Many have taken the same stance as you. I wish FD would at least tell us what their logic or technical barrier is to not implementing this. Albeit a smaller one than other reasons, it's one reason I de-pledged and won't get involved in PP until it and other changes get implemented.
 
Totally agree with you, but I guess FD has other priorities now (Engineers), I hope some day PowerPlay will get some love from FD...
 
Bump - And to add on what has been said, it would be nice to get those merits now that enemy agents harrass the player in extraction sites.

Twice in a row today I've barely escaped in one piece, first from a wing of 3-4 Kumo Crew NPCs that showed up at an extraction site. Then two federal agents.

Later on I fought a Federal agent Python who attacked me first, for several minutes before I destroyed him. My reward for the fight = 800 credits. [haha]
