No solution? No fun

I remember when Powerplay first dropped I could get interdicted up to 7 times in one system, now that was overkill. Still with the same power but playing for the last two weeks after a long break I haven't noticed an abundance of interdictions, just the occasional one as always.

One thing I would say to the OP and other forum users of a similar mind, could you stop using clickbait titles please. The title "No Solution? No fun" gives absolutely no idea what the thread is about. The forum seems to be polluted by nonsense titles with no relevance to the subject itself. Let's save the "mysterious titles" for Thargoids and interesting events rather than complaints about game mechanics.

ED was based on the idea that player ingenuity and skill would be the way to solve issues, including pirates and 'griefers'. One can say he does not like that, but that is about as useful as saying you concede too many goals in NFL 2016 but 'dont want to be pressed into tackling the opponent'. That is kinda how the game works. And when the OP finishes with "maybe some like this, but I'm so tired of tackling opponents I am going to wait for NFL 2017" some people might want to point out to him that his approach is only going to lead to more disappointment.

So do i get you right that you intentionally ignore the fact that there are two more modes that are more fitting to the op?
Which are both playable without "tackling a single human opponent" btw. and THATS how the game works. Even if you try to tell everyone different. There is no NEED to "tackle" other players at all.

If you have trouble with cmdrs you always have the option to play solo. Also stop breaking the law and maybe you wont get interdicted all the time :) I find if I dont have any "illicit" cargo and am not doing anything illegal or am wanted in a system, I almost never get interdicted.

Also if you dont like getting killed by other cmdrs, SC might not be the best option. I believe that aside from a handful of single player campaigns, SC is "open" mode only, there is no solo option at all.

He's also talking about NPC's you know? As far as I know, no mode is without them. You seem to keep attacking a point that he's not making.

Exactly. I play in a private group. The only other players I see are my brothers. As far as interdictions goes, that happens once or twice an evening, maybe... DEPENDING on what I'm doing.

Running missions? Interdicted more often.
Robigo Smuggling missions? Yeah much more likely to have interdictions.
Running regular trade missions? Not very often. Usually just enough to make it interesting. Usually it is a bit of extra coin as I don't trade in a defenseless ship.
I'm wanted? Yeah, more often.
When I was involved in Power Play it happened much more often.

Solo or Private Group could be the OP's solution.

If he wants to stay in open, then maybe moving out to the the less player populated section of the bubble would be wise.

Interdictions are spammed -way- too much since 1.4.

There's a difference between danger and tedium. Infinite Sidewinders and Eagles going for my Conda just burst against the hull, yet they still persist 24/7, making any trip take longer than it needs to because of one unnecessary jump for each time.

There is NO challenge in this.

EDIT: Keeping the game open after the 43rd interdiction of the day is a real challenge.
