Yeah, I don't get it. Can we get back to the topic of this thread, please?
Human settled space is around 0.001% of the total volume of the galaxy.
EDIT: you could probably add a couple of more Zero's to that, Maby 10.

OnePercent? As in OnePercent, the first ever triple Elite commander?

Those values on Dubardo's chart have been doubled since it was made.
Then there's the 50% bonus for a first discovery as well.
So an Earth-like world on the chart is 30,000 Cr.
It is actually more like 60,000 Cr (with some variation up and down for size of planet).
Now add 50% if you're the first Cmdr to scan that system and get back home to sell the data.
It is possible to get 90,000 Cr from an Earth-like world now.
Stars tend to be around 2400 Cr (3600 Cr with bonus).
