No stations out there...

Hello,
Why there is no stations in almost whole galaxy but only around place when we started game?
Everyone knows there could be life everywhere so will be great if we can see some stations and people / NPC / Players in WHOLE galaxy... ? :S

Because that limit of the stations is the limit to HUMAN space. If rumors are correct there are others out there (non human) who may or may not have there own stations. The big community led mission at the moment is to find them. Its a big galaxy you could lose a couple of civilizations out there and never notice them.

Because if there were station around the entire galaxy you would never meet another player. What to join in the community goal? You only have to travel 20,000 LY.

There is plenty of life out there, but intelligent, space faring life? Well, there might be, but it is not everywhere.

Besides, what would be the point of exploring if you knew someone had got there first, set up shop, built stations, cities, shopping malls and golf courses and was now flogging tat to tourists?

It'd be really neat if we could find stations out there. Maybe old derelicts from any year between Humanity's first real colonization efforts and 3300... Old technology, old ideology, old culture... Or perhaps more advanced somehow by being untouched for so long? Exciting!

But Sagittarius A Tesco is really fun idea ;P.
But if we've got Heisenberg orbital should we have Loss Pollos Hermanos Stationos out there.

I really wish there were some outposts at least. Common, someone is going to take a T9 and put up a gift shop near Sagittarius A* and provide repair parts for a premium price. Its only amount of time. Imagine doing trade runs for them... they would be desperate for new food stuffs I am sure.

I traveled to Sagittarius A* and all they had at the gift shop were lousy T-shirts.

You do know that Heisenberg was a quatum physicist and a contemporary of Einstein right? Not just a drug dealer on Netflix.

The game is set at a time when we haven't explored the entire galaxy. There are no stations because we haven't been there yet.

your lucky I got there on a Tuesday and they dont open on Tuesdays 1,200 light years for nothing. The kids played up asking are we there yet and this ship sucks ,my friends dad has a faster one .

Nobody wants to think about it too much, but about 40% of all people on Earth will get cancer before they die. And this is with an atmosphere, ozone layer, and magnetic radiation shielding. Not sure how we'll make to mars, let alone Sgr A* without finding a way to avoid dying from cancer first.
