The game engine obviously supports it in the free camera, so I'm a bit surprised that we only have a 2D view using VR. I feel the VR user experience in the current implementation is so bad I actually stopped playing for now. I miss playing elite a lot but when my immersion is ruined then there is no point of playing anymore...
No stereoscopic projected view?
