CQC No target lock triangles in Rift

Hi CMDRs,I recently started playing CQC with Rift VR. However there is a bizarre behavior: the game seems to immediately stop drawing red triangles around target once it is locked. This is extremely annoying when there are 2-3 foes on the screen and you don't even know that you locked on. Not to mention I literally need to shoot blind because I can't tell if the gimballs are on target. Interestingly, the lock is on. I can see in the radar the target is marked with usual Surprisingly, sometimes it works correctly, i.e game paints the triangles around target just as without reef. But when I login in/out it goes back to broken behavior. Am I the only one with this issue?
 
I use rift and it works fine for me, can you perhaps make a screen shot to demonstrate. However don't expect a fix any time soon it seems CQC has been abandoned by the devs.
 
Rift/CQC player here. Wonder if you are using the gamepad ? I remember having some problems with targeting using the supplied gamepad - and quickly switched back to K + M for combat. I basically assumed the issue was with the setting up of the controller - and found targeting was not as good (difficult to be more precise here) and found the controller difficult to use in general...
Had no problems with K + M.
 
Surely I use K+M. I would be a sitting duck with gamepad.What graphical settings are you using? I just used 'vr high'. I recall i have been tinkering a lot with graphical settings, so perhaps flipping something caused target lock to be 'optimized out'.
 
Yes, I just used one of the standard graphical settings VR high (pretty sure it was that rather than Ultra) - with just a bit of playing around with the SuperSampling parameter to see how that affected things.
That wouldn't affect targetting problems though...
