No upgrade option for Odyssey Pre-order?

Honestly this is hopefully just some silly oversite on Frontiers part. The Odyssey pre-order has been around for a long time on Steam and I am sure there are a fair few that decided to back the game early. Now there is an updated pack that people may be interested and there is no way to upgrade. What gives?

I'm really hoping this is just some oversite and not a blatant slap in the face to those that would support you early on.

Steams return policies prevent that. If the purchase is older than 14 days, whether you have played it or not, you cannot get a refund. It should not be a terrible bother for Frontier to offer an upgrade option on their Steam store page.

I have purchased the pre-order too from Steam and although it is more than 14 days old they appeared to still be processing refunds, I needed to provide a reason for the refund and then click the button. Maybe purchase the upgrade, then ask for a refund and show them you have already purchased the upgrade and state what you now purchased is what you want and wasn't available when you initially purchased Odyssey.
