No way to get to the horse head nebula

i decided to go for a fly and have ended up at WREGOE IA-Y B14-1 and unable to go forward due to the surrounding systems being "unknown permit locked" anyway is there a way to get the the horsehead nebula? if not is there a nice detour you can think off for something else to go and see?

Fly down to -310 and follow this route in if you like. There are other ways, but this one means you won't have to fly up and down.

If you have a long enough jump range (say ~40 ly ought to do it), you can jump directly from SYNUEFE to Witch Head, passing over the permit-locked systems of Col 70.

I suspect some (many?) people will disagree, but I would actually prefer if we had more areas like this in the game that requires a bit of thought to navigate - and that provides som nice "getaways" for pilots who know the lay of the land and have geared their ship up for it. Eg. being able to outsmart your pursuers by jumping across a permit locked sector where it is "thin" enough...

But we can't get any closer. This is my biggest criticism of the game currently. Seeing Horsehead was one of the things I came to ED for, but they unexpectedly locked it with no announcement before I could get home from Beagle Point.

I suspect that it will be reopened again with the introduction of new content that is placed there - perhabs even in the not so far future (2.4?). This is just a hunch... (shrugs).

In the early days of the game is was not permit locked, but I took only a single screenshot from within the Horsehead Nebula itself.

Not much to see (which is the point, as the galactic disc should have been visible but is obscured...)
