nobody touch anything

Hey guys,
After taking a 3 week break from ED and my oculus, Im back in the pilots seat and am actually aally happy with the game as it is right now. I had stopped playing after I started having problems with driver crashes due to overclocking. yesterday I decided to fix it. I had planned on removing gpu drivers and starting fresh, feeling certain that that would solve my problems. well, I had a helluva time removing my nv drivers so I went after a dl of driver cleaner and found DDU instead. I need to add that before I ran DDU i couldnt install any driver without a BSOD. so anyway, I ran DDU and installed 344.75 and now my game is performing better and looks much much better than it ever has. Cleaning out the nv crap with DDU seems to have fixed the overclocking problems as well. I've beel playing for about 6 hrs now with my sli'd 670's set to 3420mhz on the mem and 1254mhz on the cores.. not the first problem. so in closing, I ask that nobody touch anything until the next big update. Things are just running and looking too good as is.:D

The game crashing after 1.3.0.4 wasn't anything to do with your drivers or overclocking. It was an issue introduced with the patch. I suspect you having other issues with your drivers is just a coincidence

do you think that todays .06 patch fixed the crashes? I didn't see anything in the change log about that specific problem. also, The crashes i'm talking about in my post most certainly have to do with overclocking. It was the NV display drivers that were crashing, not the game. If I OC'd, I crashed..If I didn't OC all was well. and it was ONLY while playing ED. I could run benchmarks for day without any problem but as soon as I fired up ED....

Lot of problems with OC for a lot of NVidia users from past drivers they released. It's a known problem.

Check comments after the release notes. I also experimented those crash (ED & Witcher 3) and had to play with OC to fix part of them. I'll downgrade my version to the GTA V ones which seems the last really stable drivers. Patch 1.3.0.4 seems to also had a problem added to this "old" NVidia one. Hope NVidia will fix those drivers for good.
