Nola Zoo and Ameriquarium

To complement the Jaguar Square, I added the Ruins Playplace, with different play items (including a sandbox and climbing structure) to show kids how South American Animals survive in the wild.

I've added quite a bit! First of all, here's some updated habitats from the newly-renamed Bamboo Trail, representing Asia.

An ASCOtter/Babirusa habitat inspired by Smithsonian:

Second, the sun bears, and an education plaza for them:

Finally, the cranes, a conservation talk building, and new fences for the path alongside the elephants.

Next, some Primate Updates, with a new Think Tank museum/primate house and an O-Line for the orangutans.

Finally, the Gator Swamp, a new exhibit area inspired by Audubon.

Nola is also the only zoo in the US to hold a rare species -- the mossman (I've heard rumor of one in Japan as well).

Thanks! Interior design is always hard for me (in part because lighting/windows are so difficult to get looking realistic!) so I often feel the need to fill buildings up with lots of little display areas.

For the third time in this zoo, I've redesigned part of the African section (once named Rocks of Africa, now Into Africa). Attached are pics of the new cheetah habitat and the new restaurant -- the Mane Grill.

I also updated the entrance, finally, and turned it into a crosswalk with handicap parking and a fountain among other things. The sign and crosswalk are taken from the Smithsonian in DC, but the fountain is inspired by the Audubon in New Orleans.

I've also been working on creating a new Islands building and am planning to update Amazon: Andes to Atlantic. Might add pictures this weekend depending on if I feel like it, might not.
