Nominations sought for the wittiest posting of 2015!

CMDRs, sometimes sitting for long periods in the lonely blackness of space can drive a pilot to gloom, doom, the irritation of plies and even posting nonsense on *cough* internet forums :)

To inject a little levity here, we're seeking nominations from all Elite Dangerous forum CMDRs, for the wittiest posting of all last year.

Please quote the thread title and the specific post you would like to nominate.

I team of expert rib-ticklers will pour over any nominations (soon) and come up with a most side-splitting entry.

Please don't nominate yourself, for the sake of modesty.

To me its a group nomination.
.
I would like to nominate everyone who has complained about the servers being down on a Thursday Morning at 7 or 8 depending on British Summer Time. It brings a smile to my face every week when I see a "servers Down" or "cant log in" post on A Thursday at 07:05am. It disappoints me greatly when we get to 07:30 and no one has complained and I am forced to kick the cat for some fun

Bamber, many thanks for being the first to post, I think you are very unlikely to win at this point, but you never know, you may well be the only respondent ;)

Oooh oooh. The one where he had his science completely wrong and was arguing something ridiculous like bullets accelerate infinitely in a vacuum whereas 500 other people were saying acceleration is 0 because the bullet has no propulsion method. <- Anyone remember where this gem of a thread went to?

That was hilarious and even got a developer comment on how funny the thread was.

Ah, forgot to include a specific post in the above thread. This should do ^^

seriously. Acceleration is constant ... IT IS CONSTANT. Velocity is not. VELOCITY IS NOT CONSTANT.

Kinetic energy increases the longer my projectile travels in space because it's acceleration is constant. You're agreeing with the math and then saying it's conclusions are wrong.

probes would travel at constant velocity after their thruster burns if your broken logic stood. They do not. They continue to accelerate at the rate their thrusters contributed. forever. That's why voyager (and every probe) doesn't need to constantly fire thrusters (even if it could) to continue increasing in velocity, which it does.
