Engineers Non-cheese weapons choice for T9?

Having engineered most of my other ships, I was thinking of daring CG's in Open - with an aptly engineered craft. Given that my armed cow is going to turn too slowly to use fixed weapons, even with Dirty Drives G5, what kind of weapon loadout can be as annoying and disruptive as possible? Goes without saying, I won't be able to take down anything - ideally just hold long enough to damage the shields significantly.

If I didn't care about etiquette I would go with Thermal Cascade Cannons, but even my Need for Cheese (tm) has its limits. What is the next best option in this scenario?

Against NPCs I had good results with 2 beam turrets on the top hardpoints and 3 seeker launchers. Not sure whether it would work against player ships though.

Go see Juri Ishmaak and get Rapid fire, Ion Disruptor mines. Then run.

It doesn't matter how Cheese you went you'd never get a real player off your tail in a T9. Those mines work really well.

Smart Open CG traders use them to great effect.

Even with significantly stacked shield/armor/launched fighter(s)? I don't really want to "trade" (or I can leave just one slot for cargo), I was thinking more of a "surprise cow".

well, Na'Qan (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL0qebEnZSMy3i514MO9gaA) has used a keelback in pvp quite often, maybe take it from there? so a combi of missiles/packhound and reverberating cascade torpedos. or reverberating cascade mines and seekers/packhounds? with a fighter to harras.

strictly pve i like a combi of missiles with overload munitions to take down shields and more missiles to take down pirates, but this won't get you anywhere pvp - with maxed out resistances on your targets in pvp, missiles won't even tickle a shield.

Wow, Reverberating Cascade Rapid Fire Mines sounds evil... so what's the deal, I just reversky while laying them? Would that even work, wouldn't people catch on and just fly around the cow?

the question is, whether people expect it. if they do, they will not fly into the mines. but if they don't, they might just fly through them, as mines usually do next to nothing on a players engineered ship. in any case i would simply feint a brave sir robin... if you are running, they will pursuit you, if they follow you, the chance is high they will fly right through the mines. at which point you switch to packhound/seekers to strip them from their hardpoints... after that you'll be out of ammo, so --- ramming?

you won't have a chance against a more experienced pvp pirate or pvp ganker, and you'll have some rebuys most probably as if you don't start your escape plan during interdiction, you won't survive till highwake if the other one knows what he is doing - but some might fall for that trick.

Wouldn't run mines in something unless it's small enough to get tanglin' with the enemy. The T9 will just go "HAH THERE! TAKE MY MINES!" while the opponent watches from 400m off like "eh now?".

I'd prolly be interested in one/two long range lazors so even at your speed you can't have someone dictate range and thrash you from afar, and MCs and/or missiles elsewhere.
