non lethal weapons

I keep getting offered rank progression missions to procure non lethal weapons, but I have never seen them offered in any commodity market.

Is there a trick to locating these? Do I need to go out of Federation space to find them? Or will they magically drop into my lap if I accept such a mission?

Hi tech systems.
Amd use something like Slopeys tool to get an idea of local systems that have stock

You can try checking the commodity market, look for Lethal Weapons (usually at the very bottom), click them, and then check where they are imported from on the right hand side of the screen.

Beyond that, no idea

Had one of these last night and happened to have noticed they were available in the Anarchy system I call home at the moment (lots of 10K+ missions). Along with Reactive Armour.

Use the map to show you the trade routes of the non lethal weapons. Since they are asked for so frequently, I always carry around some in my cargo bay - just in case.

the trade route map shows nothing. I assume I need to move.
I am 100Ly and 150Ly away from Ross 490 and Leesti

the "imported from" is blank where I am now, but I will keep an eye on it from now on.

I am not interested in using tools like Slopeys. I just wanted to know if I was missing something obvious.

I will try to find some high-tech anarchic systems.

There're non-lethal weapons in Kokojina, if that helps.

Try checking the current system ... I keep getting offered that mission and they actually sell them right there!

I'm not sure about taking rank with the fed though ... I think I'm more of an alliance kind of guy (I wish we has 3 saves and I could be all three)

Non Lethal Weapons and Reactive Armour is usually sold by Empire hightech stations.

There are sources of non lethal weapons, you just have to chase down the imported from star systems in the commodities page. I just got some from GD 219.

don't bother with the trade tool.
you will have more luck with the galaxy map.
Select economy and then select: show only high tech worlds only.
This can all be don in galaxy map, you have for menu there and i believe it was the 3 one to the right

systems near freeport seem to sell them, i got a mission for non-lethals and that actual station sold them!
