Noticed what looks like artifacting on two occasions: when I first tried triple-monitor gaming with Elite Dangerous, second as seen below. Both times I was unable to recreate the artifacting either in the game by retaking the steps that created it initially, or through stress tests and benchmarks.
Here's what I mean by, "the second time":
Model is EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW ACX 3.0
(Don't quote me on the ACX part).
My retailer's ("bring it in and we'll swap it out there and then") insurance policy runs out next weekend, so I'd like to put my finger on the issue during this week. If I can't, I guess I'll have to risk it and trust with either said retailer's standard return (#cosbroken) policy, or go with EVGA's standard 3 Year Guarantee.

- No overclocks. I've owned the card for two weeks.
- Only in ED. GTA:V (which had all settings to max for a short while) did not produce this, nor did anything else I've played.
- Can't reproduce through benchmarks. Tried Firestrike Extreme, Furmark.
- Temperatures are fine, even at 100% utilisation the GPU sits at about 75deg max.
- When I accidentally enabled Steam overlay at the time, it appeard over the glitch/artifacts. Like the shadow effect that Steam overlay has essentially made the artifacts darker. If this was a GPU issue (or even a monitor one), wouldnt the artifacts appear bright-white regardless of what was open at the time (say f.lux or something else that changes the color of the screen, and is an overlay)?
