I'm not sure why exactly but I am getting better performance in VR if I go with the non-VR presets. The Ultra preset (non-VR) is better for me than the High VR preset.

I didn't even know there were VR specific presets. What performance numbers are you getting?
I don't have the actual FPS...just what I am seeing.
Interesting. I'll have to experiment a little. Will try to remember to report back what I find.
