I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. I have looked around but as of yet not found any answers to my question.
So I'm a long time player but even then, very casually. I really enjoy trading and exploring though I don't usually bother with the details of things.
So with the launch of Horizons I'm looking forward to doing some more exploring, checking out new systems and just lazily flying around the planets.
So anyway, I love my Adder, it's a stupid little ship, but I've got it set up for discovery, all the tools and scanners you might need. That is, until Horizons came along. Now I have a cargo bay that I rarely use, so I could easily swap that out for my SRV bay. I do wonder however. While on the planet surface, the SRV can find and pick up cargo, if I don't have a cargo bay in the ship, when I dock the SRV will I lose it? Does it stay on the SRV?
I'm not overly worried about this, but if I found something cool, I'd hate to lose it. Which means I might need to find a better ship/raise some funds.
So yeah, anyone have any info? did I miss something blatantly obvious?
