Noob trying to figure this game out

I wonder do you often buy unfinished games which are more expensive than any triple A release , just to stream it? I don´t get it. Does twitch streaming pay off through advertising or something?

Yes, it does. You can make a living with streaming.

For all noobs out there. MOVE AWAY FROM THE SPAWNING SYSTEM! This is the epicenter of PVP activity. You'll be run over by a bus and the driver won't even notice. Make 5-10 jumps in any direction and your starting experience will be much better. Less lag, less ruined days...

You can make a living, but just barely. Streaming is a very saturated gig these days, since its so easy with consoles and built in apps etc.

I accept donations etc and reward my viewers, but I probably will never make a living from it. I wish though

Yea I thought about that, but doesnt moving further away from the noob spawn point increase the difficulty in the game (NPCs, mobs, non Human Pirates)

It gets easier and more rewarding. Just make sure you have enough fuel, stations are visible on the system map/ or your exploration skills are tuned up. To make distant station visible you may want to purchase cartography data.

Not as such, there are less stations and the systems can be further apart so it can be a little harder to get around but I have not noticed any difference in NPC activity.
