North American Fan site for ED?

Is anyone creating a North American fan site for ED? I would really like to see this happen. There are a lot of Canadian and US fans jumping onboard with Elite Dangerous. What are some of the specifics you would like to see in the site and how do we make it a possibility?

I'd like to believe this is true but I haven't seen any evidence of it. Not that I've looked that hard but the only mentions of Elite: Dangerous I've seen over here are from E3 and Star Citizen chatroll. I wouldn't have even found about about the game if not for Star Citizen chat. That was in November.

Not sure why we'd need or want another site rather than all be a part of the entire community?

Well, I have an Elite-Battles domain I'm doing absolutely nothing with. If someone wants to create something, they can have it

I've been kicking around an idea for a fan site for a while but, to be honest we can find everything here.

I've grown rather found of the Brits around here

Still may do a fan site though, just for kicks.

I rambled on about this before about being able to connect with players in my timezone. A North American site would be focused on the four major timezones. Rubbing elbows with pilots that are on my schedule. The galaxy is HUGE and with North Americans being a minority compared to Europeans players. I believe a NA site would help get the most out of the MMO experience.

I'm not looking to takeaway from the official site. It would just be added ED content to enjoy.
