Not a complaint, but E D designers obviously fans of 1970's muscle cars

Proof: 1970 Plymouth Superbird vs Type-10, Viper Mk4, Imperial Eagle, (and maybe the Beluga, but I'll concede that one if pressed).

Edit: And I'm not even including the ship kits, which greatly expand the concept.

I've been flying my Viper Mk4 recently and, I gotta say, the noise it makes is badly wasted on such a mediocre ship.

It sounds like there's an angry tiger loose in the cargo hold.

Mediocre?
What are you using it for?
I love the MK IV. It is a great 'little' combat ship, and one of the best looking ships in the game at that.

Well, that's the problem.

It's tougher than it's direct rivals (Cobra 3 and AspS) for pew-pew but once you've got, say, a Vulture you're not going to choose to fly a Viper 4 in combat and it doesn't have the speed or agility of the CM3 for use as a runabout.

I do like flying the Viper 4 but that always means making the deliberate choice to fly it instead of a better ship, unfortunately.

Much like the AspS, it's one of those ships that, once you can afford better, there's no good reason to keep flying it. [sad]

Every time I fly a Viper MKIII I Feel like I'm back in the 90's driving my old beat up £500 pound Camaro, the sound design of some of these ships is amazing.

Nice car. But the knoll in the background - wasn't that the site for a certain close encounter of the third kind?

Devils Tower, would love to see it for real someday.

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
The sportiest car I've ever owned is my Hyundai Elantra.

Anything is a step up in the cool department from that.
