Not able to hand in my quest

hi there, I reseved 2 missions in my chat from some NPC to do some illigal stuff (blow up a ship or two). and another to collect some millatairy plans that where just floting in space.
i did both and whent to collect but this is where i am lost.

I do the normal thing i always have done. dock at the port and go in to my mission board to collect. but i cant find my finnished mission anywhere. I looked on foot and in my ship but could not find it
what am i doing wrong? or is this a bug?

in the screenshots i added the path i followed in the screens. as you can see i am at the right station and everything. but i can't seem to find where to hand in my missions.
one of them even failled already because of the time limmit.

any help is welcome!!

It says 'collect the reward from me' - so you need to go see the NPC mission giver maybe?

The mission giver in the station will have a blue symbol above their head, just in case you forget who it was.

All mission givers have a blue symbol - the hand-in one will also have a 'tick' which is a bit more indicative

Don't worry - I'm guessing that the OP will come back, call us both idiots, and say they fixed it by logging into Horizons. That's what usually happens around here

Well i tried loading in horizons but that removed the mision all together from my list. the base i am seposed to go to is one of the new ones from odyssey
loading back in to odyssey does return the mission, so i have to compleat it in the new update. after landing again and looking around I have no mission marker on my campas and by looking through the staff list on the settelment i dont see anyone with a mision marker on them. so i am at a los here.

all of there names look like this and as you can see only my ship is on my radar/compas.
am I being stupid here? or am i missing something?

Ah, it's an Odyssey Settlement .. did you check the mission list on a terminal in the base? Looks like you're just checking from the ship. (Though the completed missions normally appear on the ship too).

Edit: Probably not that - I see the reward are 'ship' rewards so you took the mission from your ship at an EDO base. I guess it's bugged then - I've been doing a few like that in the last few days and they've been fine - but not that type.

It's a bug with missions received via the chat box. The faction who gave you the mission (in this case Silver Dynamic Interstellar) need to be at the destination port for you to complete the mission. Odyssey Settlements only have one faction present (in this case Vesper-M4 Jet Transport Inc), not the full set of system factions that would be available at a normal space or planetary port. Usually the one you need won't be there and so you can't complete it.

this makes no sense. i picked up a mission from the terminal in station. every other time i've turned missions in from the ship console. was this changed? i even walked around the station after completing the mission, and there was no one with a mission marker. so is this broken or what? this game is becoming a convoluted mess. i can't even count how many times I quit in frustration.

As far as I know you can only hand in ship based missions while in your ship, but I rarely do missions so could well be wrong.

Occasionally lag or something means that mission givers and counter staff that we can interact with don’t appear going back aboard the ship or visiting the main menu can fix this, not something I have seen happen in a long time though.
