Not able to wave to visiting friends?

It’s my first time playing challenge mode and I found that I can’t wave/say hello to visiting friends, and couldn’t collect CC from them. But I did notice my CC gradually rising while they walked around. Is this a bug, or the intended function?

I have never been able to wave and recieve CC since launch either in Franchisee mode or Challenge mode. Not sure if I am alone in this since I haven't seen anyone else report it. 😬

I tried too in career mode, but it never worked for me either - I wouldn't even know about getting CCs for it, but I saw a Youtube Video from someone (I don't remember who) - were he was able to greed a person and became some CCs for it.

I'm wondering too, if we can see somewhere who was greeting us, so we would know which zoo's our avatar was visiting?

I haven't seen any issues in Franchise mode, but I don't think it works in any other mode by design.To be fair, I haven't played much since the latest patch to see if it's still the same. A couple further notes: if you happen upon your own avatar, you cannot wave and earn points. As well, you can only wave once at an avatar per session, and there is a limit to how many you can wave at per day.

Yes, I was aware of these rules previously but even if I'm playing in Franchisee mode and have just started up my game for the day and try to wave at visiting guests (not myself) then I can't click the button, it simply is not clickable. :( I'll put it into the issue tracker with my save file, hopefully they can take a look at it for me :giggle:

Very odd! It's a good idea to put that to the issue tracker. It working OK for me last night, so there may be something in your case that they'll be able to identify. Best of luck to get it resolved soon!

@Moonfox - maybe you could do the same as you're having a similar problem?

I'm wondering if the age of the zoo has something to do with it. Are either of you working with a newer franchise? (For reference, mine has been running since the Tiger Community Challenge, and I have only a single zoo in the franchise.). I'm just wildly guessing at this point. The issue tracker is the way to go. :)
