Not being able to insert image

Hello there, i wanted to upload some pictures here to a thread, but i got the message "Oops! We ran into some problems. " constantly. Has anyone had this problem before?

Your pictures are probably too big. So in terms of file size. You can open your pictures in Paint and simply go to "Save as JPG". The pictures are then only a third of the size. If you are a little bit trained, you can also work with Gimp, Irfanview or PS. But for the normal purpose Paint also works.

This usually means your image is either too large in dimension or too large in file size. Keep it around 800 pixels wide and as small a file size as possible to upload onto the forums.

I plopped my image into paint, saved it as a PNG, tried uploading it here again, yet still running into trouble. the image itself also seemed to look terribly small compared to the other image it was put on by paint, stuff's a little tough today

JPG not PNG. PNG images get too large. To work with PNG files and to get a reasonable size, you'd have to learn something about the subject.

Just upload it to imgur.com or a similar hosting site and then hotlink it using 'insert image' and choosing the URL option.
