Not concerned in the least.

Last I checked, the average of all reviews across various countries and websites comes to a score of 7.9/10. I haven't trusted anything IGN has said for the past eight years, so I can pretty much throw that one out from the start (nevermind that they gave it to a guy who has literally never reviewed a tycoon-style game before), but the 7.9 even factors that into the average.

Best I can tell from the few sources I actually trust... The game has a solid foundation and does everything I expected it would do. There are some letdowns in terms of features, which can and likely will be remedied going forward given Frontier's track record. I'm feeling as optimistic as ever about my personal enjoyment of the game. Anyone else feeling unfazed by the couple of scathing reviews out there, or are they shaking the confidence of more people than not?

Ditto. Reviews arent putting me off and I look forward to playing the game myself. Also bravo you beat me to calculating the average XD I'll go and stick a mention into my comment in the other thread.

That fact that IGN dislikes the game means I will probably love it. lol

I just wish I knew what features are offlimits from Universal's side.

I'd love destroyable jeeps, and the carnivore hunting ACU and rangers.

And a whole bunch of other things. But the question is, what CAN be added.

It's at this point I'd like to remind everyone of the IGN reviews for both JPOG and Alien: Isolation.

IGN and Gamespot reviews are basically on the permanent ignore list.

The same guy that reviewed JWE reviewed No Man's Sky and gave it a 6/10. A game with literally zero content besides the planets and their very sparse life and he gives it a 6/10.

Nothing IGN comes out with now fazes me there reviews are put together by people who ain't fans of said types of games, Dan Stapleton for instance is an FPS/RPG gamer and he reviewed JWE, It's like the Ailen Isolation review all over again I remember watching that review and when the review gave the rating I said some unholy words which I will keep off of this fine forum. :D

I’m not concerned at all. I’ve seen plenty of videos to make a good judgement. Other gaming sites have given good reviews.
Well done frontier.

I still love the game and it is definitely worth the 60 euro, the dinosaurs are absolutely amazing and im glad frontier made them in a lot of detail. There are here and there some things I would like frontier to change or fix for example the spinosaurus and giganotosaurus size compared to the T-rex and definitely the sandbox mode, it should be separated from campaign and atleast made an option to choose between creative sandbox (unlimited funds, all dinosaurs) and normal sandbox (limited funds and some starting dinosaurs and unlocking the others, just like JPOG), then it will add tons of replayability.

IGN = PAID REVIEWERS = Bought and PAID for Opinions. That being said, I trust the YouTube videos of actual gameplay over anything the corrupt folks at IGN have to say. [yesnod]
