Horizons Not enough Cargo in space??

The balance of cargo with material finds in USSs is way off 97% material 3% cargo if your lucky, this needs addressing please.

I have found that the type of USS determines the kind of salvage -- Degraded emissions and the remains from player combat scenarios (Weapons Fire USS) usually or often have cans. Combat Aftermath, Encoded and High Grade Emissions have materials and/or data. Do you investigate all types?

I seem to recall finding S&R pods/cans @ a CA, but I could easily have mis-remembered that, Piper. Thanks for the heads up, corrected above.

I have investigated every USS in game but I even did a two week solid tour of duty looking for cans, with hardly any luck at all, in all different systems as well, my findings resulted in 97%b chance of material finds and 3% chance of cargo this is where the problem lays, not an even balance, i'm hoping frontier will change this.

Finding cargo was the only element when the game released since then it is rare thing to come across which is sad as the game is about trading, combat, exploring, not just materials all the time....

With Horizons, loose cans are often found planetside at POIs and Data Point installations where Planetary Scans are done (Outposts and Buildings). Some are guarded by skimmers or even defense turrets, others just need to be collected, and include both legal and illicit cargoes. In space, missions that call for collection of specific cargoes like Rare Artwork and Black Boxes usually have many other cargo cans available as well. In combat areas like RESs, enemy NPC ships will often dump cargo if they are in danger of destruction, which can be swept up by the victor(s). In no way are such opportunities rare.
