not enough storage space in carrier

Needs to have more storage space, double would be nice.

Currently if you wish to take carrier equal or beyond 22,000LY you need about 24,000 trit both ways to get there and back.

Even with limited internals installed in carrier you as pushing it to get it there and back. Carrier is also an exploritory ship right so cant really take it far to explore without emptying the trit completely and having it stuck there while you mine a load more trit. Defeats the purpose of a carrier for exploration with a low cargo area at 25,000 not including internals.

I think this should be doubled at least people can then use the carrier and go out to the far reaches of the galaxy and use it for proper exploration, having enough storage inside to stock it fully with trit for both journeys there and back.

25,000 just isnt enough. Please increase it so people can use their carriers for exploration as well as increased storage space for trading etc.

I Still Feel 50k is Not Enough 100k Much better

I cant say i disagree however, isnt this the whole point of bringing a mining vessel with you? I would love to see a slight trit consumption nerf and jump range extended to maybe 1000ly. And sure an increase to FC storage space maybe to 30k, but realistically people arent using all that space as it is, most people seem to be using their carriers as garages. Time will tell if others want to see this kind of change, but all im gonna suggest on this is to get together a nice mining vessel.

Your math isn't quite right. You can go all the way to beagle point with under ten thousand tons of tritium. That 66000 light years.

I do like the idea of being able to buy additional support vessels with additional utilities, but I don't think it would make much difference in terms of jump range.

What I'd like is being able to buy a support ship for another 5 billion credits. It would just have an extra ~12500 cargo space, but I could transfer tritium directly from it to my fuel tank at a distance, and it would free up space so I could put in more outfitting and shipyard options. It really sucks that I can only use my FC for other players or myself, not both at the same time.

on way to SAG A right now with wing buddy. Each 500ly jump uses 127t of trit so yes its been reduced I was going by 4 jumps per 1000 tonne, 250t a jump.

Still could do with it doubling to 50k storage as it would come in with large trading and more trit storage as well as not cutting into service modules as much.

Auto transfer would be good too from carrier to stations or ships to carriers without docking.
