Not feeding 'bug' and 'I guess the view is fine?' are probably just mechanics

^ As you can see at 8:13 the keeper you hired will walk in to look around first, walk out and then enter the feeder hut to prepare food
And just like research hut, if one is being occupied then you can't use it unless you build another or upgrade to a bigger one like in the video, make sure the power plant covers it as well.
I did have problem with water bowls not filled at all but maybe to others it was fine? Regardless I just placed the unlimited water fillers.
Also a keeper can only bring a certain amount of food for one specie one time, (and prioritize the enrichment first?) that could be why not every tray would be filled, in addition time was paced fast if it's true for beta testing.
Personally I think it's more realistic, though I kinda do hope the food tray you specifically called for food can be filled and select for which specie if there are multiple ones, even if bigger trays cost more to refill.

^ At 8:50 which mentioned object placement is important and would affect guests' happiness. I'm not sure whether or how the size of food trays would impact if the feeders decide to fill them though.
I randomly placed the food trays around the habitat and got the 'meh' happiness overall, where I watched a streamer placed every food trays/water fillers close to the fence or glass and the guests were happy, he had just 2 habitats.

This complain puzzled me too quite a bit, when watching YouTube videos. "The keepers just walk in, look around - and leave! Why don't they fill the empty food tray right in front of them????". In my opinion, this highlighted the lack of the 'tuber's understanding of the underlying game mechanics more than any existing bug.

HOWEVER! However, I also belive, that there was a bug in the beta. I hired a dedicated keeper for my lemures, did build a keeper hut and a staff room very close to their habitat and created a work zone with all of it (and only it).
The lemures still starved to death and dehydrated.

There might have been two bugs at work.
The probably more severe one, where animals refused to eat/drink despite food and water being provided.
The possible second one with feeders not being filled by keepers; Even in my habitat described above, the food platforms seemed to stay empty. This could have been just a visual glitch though.

Anyway. What I am trying to say is that, even with many people wrongly expecting a certain AI behaviour, there still might be a bug involved. ("Just because I am paranoid doesn't mean I am not persecuted!") ;)

Regarding the visitor view happiness: Interesting! I will have to have a closer look on this. It also might be the case that not all education- and view-enhancing mechanics were implemented in the beta. We will see soon! :)

I agree sometimes the feeder seemed to fill the random spot or just not at all, could be a bug or needs some explanation for the size of the food trays, I've seen somewhere a player tweaked around for deleting enrichments and placing the smaller size of trays, not sure though.
The work zone menu was definitely bugged for me, crashed twice when I assigned the work zone.
Did the water bowl work for you? I never got it filled.

I quickly switched to the water pipe for convenience. I wasn't a good beta tester. :(
Is there any benefit of the water bowl over the pipe? I can imagine that the pipe needs - or should need - a water station in reach to stay clean. But I didn't even test this ...

Not sure either since my zoo was pretty small, but yeah maybe using water pipe would be more expansive to run than water bowl in exchange for filling workload.

I mainly used just like manually dug out little lakes and ponds for my animals all filtered and never had much issues with water, however I did notice that on occasions when animals gave birth in awkward locations such as, next to a rock, or plant or something they would not normally be able to walk into or through, or on a weird slope of some kind, the babies would occasionally become stuck, standing in 1 spot, forever unless manually moved by the player, sometimes the baby being unable to move would also cause the parent to be stuck as well, and sometimes when the animals initiated combat with one another, it could cause one to glitch into a boundary and become stuck same as the baby, they would just stand there doing idles, till they were moved by you, or died of hunger or thirst.
