Not getting notifications

So in my Sandbox zoo I was waiting for my Dull Sheep to get pregnant when I clicked on one of the females and turns out she was pregnant. However I never got the "X-animal is about to mate" notification, and the notification for the animal becoming pregnant never popped up yet it's in the timeline.

Notice how the notifications are missing? :/

There’s an option where you can switch off notifications. Maybe you did that by mistake?

Nope, all those settings are unchecked. Never even touched them.

They used to work, until I tried Franchise mode but then switched back to Sandbox.

Though, interestingly in my first 2 sandbox mode zoos, the inspector never showed up. To the point where I thought it was just not a part of Sandbox. But all the notifications worked fine. Now though, after switching back the inspector works no problem but notifications are bugged :/
