Not heard station announcers for a while

Is is just me? I realised tonight that it's been quite a while since I've heard a station announcer. I have been hanging out in anarchy/independent systems (and mostly outposts) for a while so would expect that but at the moment I'm docked at an Orbis in a Federation system and no announcer. It's a bit weird but I kind of miss them

Are they only employed in certain parts of populated space?

Haha...typical...go to the next station and there's an announcer. Sounds more muffled than before.

They seem to have different accents also .

I think they are quieter, but they are still there.

I guess it's one of the audio changes they made in 1.1, I suppose it's more "realistic".

The question is, should we hear them in every station (apart from Anarchy/Independent)? If I didn't hear it in the Federation starport, is that a bug?

Iv not heard a station announcer for about 4 days either, that's strange!....................Oh yeah, I'm exploring!!

I'm pretty sure you should hear them at every station except outposts.

Docked at George Lukas (Leesti) yesterday and heard the announcer saying something about firing weapons in stations, which I found somewhat amusing.

Yes, I have noticed the absence of announcements, it's a shame because it actually gave the stations life. What is missing really is the people moving around, technicians etc and in those biodomes inside agriculture stations, nobody is moving around in the gardens.
