Folks dont understand todays business model. In the past, a game would be developed, released, and then generally abandoned (maybe a few expansions depending on how initial sales did). Of course we all want free stuff, but the large team making this content still need to receive paychecks and the company cannot write those checks if they do not have a stream of income beyond the initial sales. These DLCs and eventualy expansion packs allow the team to continue to evolve the game for possibly years to come.
$10 US is nothing. I just spent that amount going out to lunch today. I have no issue handing $10 over to Frontier for additional content and the ability to continue to evolve the game.
Exactly, especally if you compare it to some of the DLC prices in other games... (The new hats included in the DLC? In another game that would be DLC in of itself, when I last played TF2 a cheap hat was about $5.00 US.... And that's assuming it wasn't a Loot crate exclusive...)
