Last night I was in a battle then i got dc'd my net connection dropped for a few seconds. I didnt try to get back into the game at the time cause it was real late but just now I have gone to load in and I am having trouble. I am at the loading screen with the ship spinning and it seems to be stuck there, has been for over minutes where it usualy only takes a few seconds to load in. anyone know if this is a result of my dc last night or have you experienced anything like this before?

This sounds like a partial save corruption. I have heard that in some cases support need to move you to a new system manually if you were in an instance like a USS that no longer exists. Open a ticket at https://support.elitedangerous.com and make sure you classify it as "unable to play" to make sure it gets top priority.
