Not Looking Forward To March 26th...

...For many reasons!

1) Evil daylight savings time, means the ingame clock will be an hour out again. Lol

2) I'm on holiday that week, so is my girlfriend. No ED for me.

3) it's my birthday 3 days later. I'll be older! Noooooooooo! Typically annoying/bad things happen on my birthday.

Not sure why i felt the need to share this. Lol

Mass Effect Andromeda should be on the shelves that day. :)

Actually it's earlier, but it'll be 26th before I notice. Probably.

I haven't even played ME3 yet. Lol

What if 2.3 goes live that week?
Gutted :p

I'm not looking forward to 2.3 going live either. My internet is to damn slow for updates!

That reminds me, my internet usually dies on the first day of my holidays, and isn't fixed for at least a week. Lol

Maybe this time they`ll give you just one "I win " button.

Reading the system requirements on my favourite computer magazine (i7/8 threads + GTX1060 just to get 30 fps on 1080p), that might actually be neccessary. I've played the predecessors (and would like to play them again, if they would run in Win 10 without shenanigans), but I'll pass on this one until there is more info available (and, probably, the price drops).

Well that rules my PC out. :p

Have some consolation rep, OP.

I agree with the daylight savings time. Ours starts tomorrow, so we'll be losing that hour's sleep sooner.

My birthday is in early April and not only am I getting older, I have to work 12+ hours and it's a Saturday.

My wife doesn't have to work, but she understands my addiction to the silly space games. I have that on my side anyway. :)

You're lucky with your wife!
And your wife is lucky she doesn't have to work. :p

Luckily, since beginning work, I've never actually had to work on my birthday. :D
That's like 16 years running. Lol
(I've already booked next year off!)

:D

Umm, Mass Effect: Andromeda. That game is likely to take all of my spare time for quite a long while. Played both the multiplayer and single player of ME3 to death - don't think the new one will be any different.

I'd better get my ship back to the bubble soon (at Colonia at the moment), as otherwise ED might be shelved for quite a while.
Not to mention Dawn of War 3 either! ;)

I'm actually tempted to buy NMS soon, if it ever goes on sale.
Looks like it's starting to shape up. It'll never replace ED though, but i do often find myself wanting to explore a more fertile environment from time to time.

Last time that happened I brought 7 Days to Die. That was enjoyable for a time. Roaming various biomes, scavenging to survive.
Before that, I redownloaded Skyrim, and Oblivion. Didn't get far in to Oblivion, because I forgot I didn't like it. Lol
Crysis (the original, not the EA monstrosity "sequels"), is always a blast.

Yeah, I'm off my off-topic topic. Lol

Work is not good for your health, this is a proven scientific fact. Stop that right this minute and get back to playing ED! :p

I wish!

I used to be able to play ED at work.

But some clever soul at FD decided to make the game better. So it no longer runs on my laptop. Lol
Currently saving for a new laptop.
The one i want is around £900.

I have about £4000 to go.

There's a lot of other things I need first. Including a new car. Lol

1. Ours go back tonight, here in British Columbia, Canada.
Doesn't matter anyway because the clock is 8 hours out now and will be 7 hours out tomorrow.
SOLUTION: Dogeh has to Git Gud at Math.

2. Ah. Um, maybe buy her an account? I'm clutching at straws here!
SOLUTION: Plan stuff in your down time!

3. Happy birthday on March 29! Wishing you a day with no annoying or bad things.
SOLUTION: Get drunk.

I was having a look too. It seems to have improved quite a bit to my surprise. You can even fly low now - one of my biggest peeves was being forced back into the air. Only slight problem is the coming vehicles are all in 3rd person view which is going to really blow the immersion when everything else is 1st person.

p.s. It`s on sale at half-price on GOg at about £20!

Agreed. Playing ED is the best remedy for the ill-effects of work.

1. Time is relative.

2. Take a vacation from the gf. Like a soldier has deployments, deploy yourself to playing ED during your vacation. When you return, you can both be like, "I missed you so much!"

3. Happy Birthday in advance... repeat #2... play ED while drunk. :D[yesnod][blah]
