I am constantly amazed by all forums. There is always somebody who uses it as a way to belittle other posters. It really isn't a competition to see who's the smartest man/woman in the room. It's a way to disseminate useful information about the subject matter. The use of the word 'ignorant' was unnecessary. The topic may or may not be interesting or useful to all, but still posted in good faith and without malice. Obviously there are times when posts are rude, or offensive, and should be removed.
I will cease posting in this thread now, as it's moved away from my initial subject matter.

Game get played....people find bugs....bugs get fixed....Simple (unless its Bf4 where no bugs get fixed and everyone runs away never to return again)

Untill I have proof oterwise,Braben,stated in a recent interview,PC Gamer (UK?).Servers in UK.And my experience,so far ,Ping is high,FPS is low,and general Experience is abominable!

After 18 interdictions on way with a Sidewinder 1/2 full of Waste with a deficeit of 10,000 who wants to play?

Rant part Deux:
after being drug out Hyper Drive 18 X by a mostly invisible enemy,try targetting no joy:
1)when interdicted.Too hot to do anything
2)Info panel lights up and if you are still using Keyboard and mouse (certainly not wasting any morew funds on a HOTAS or?),ALL is locked up.ship is paralyzed .Despite speed showing,NO movement,cant engage full 5DOF.and targeting never has worked with Hotkey,Never,did I say Never?
Not wanted and carrying waste.Really Waste.

Actually it's a bit too easy IMO. Interdiction is easy to avoid and there aren't enough of them.
Sounds like your PC is playing up too as well. Is it swapping focus or have you accidentally brought up comms (easy mistake to make) or focussed on the info panel or pressed the free look button?
Try left shift (I think) which should put you into the "normal" focus.
