I'm willing to give it a chance. I like the idea of seeing Jurassic Park as an actual theme park and not "Jurassic Hunting Fields with Development Plans".
Hit by Thomas the Tank Engine you say? Perhaps I'll watch it then.

But it's moved on from Dinosaurs into the whole "genetically engineered super dinosaur of doom!" territory! When that happens the results can only be bad (Deep Blue Sea, anyone?)
