Not sure about the new "fight" notification

One new thing about the update that I don't realy like is that the notification of animals fighting seems to have been moved from the animal alerts (the red paw) to the timeline.
The biggest problem with this is that the message keeps popping up in the timeline over and over again if your not quick to remove the just adult animal, and sometimes it pops up a few times more after you removed the animal.

This becomes a big problem for me in my breeding zoo. I use the timeline to see and locate all animals that have grown up, so it's easy to find them and send them to the tradingcentre or release them. But now the timeline gets filled with the "animals fighting" notification. I went afk for about 10 min to walk the dog, and when I came back, the timeline was filled with these notifications. This ment it was way harder to find the notifications of all grownup animals, and the timeline ended before I could locate all of them, so I had to go from habitat to habitat and find them manually -.-

I really like this new update, but please please reverse this change. It was fine the way it was before and the way it is now is not an improvement in any way, it just makes it harder to check the timeline efficiently :(

This is an example of how it lookes now, after tabbing out and browsing the forum for a few min :(

The new notification also doesn't seem to be working properly. I just got two notifications in the timeline that my Aardvarks were gonna fight due to them beeing to many. Problem is, I only have two of them in the habitat, one male and one female :(

Agree about shifting the notification. Coupled with the bug of fight notification (which I am also experiencing) it makes for an annoying game experience. I'm a big believer in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". PLEASE revert the animal fighting notification to be separate from timeline.

And if you could fix the animals fighting over nothing, that would be great too.
🖖

UPDATE: I've discovered if you box one of the "fighting" animals it works kinda like a soft reset & they stop fighting. An irritating work around, but i guess better than your breeding pairs hurting each other.

Yes, this feels like a very unnecessary change that just makes it harder to notice the fighting + makes the timeline really clustered :(
Please Frontier, revert this! :(

My biggest wish is that they treated "births" a little bigger. The amount of times births and maturing go completely unnoticed for me because im busy building something - and then oh look theyve been fighting for a year. great.

While it cooould get annoying - i think i'd prefer a pop up upon maturity (like research) that pauses the game, and allows me to transfer right out.

long shot that wont happen but a keeper can dream

@Arrakai It has been particularly annoying while breeding for this weeks challenge. Not to mention while breeding jaguars in pursuit of a black one. Can only imagine someone who doesn't play the game (or never does a lot of breeding) thought this was a good idea.

I hate the new notifications (or lack thereof) for animals fighting. I just miss them most the time amd then see I've had animals fighting for a long time. It needs to go back to the other red notification for animals fighting. It is more serious than Joe vendor not being able to find an open breakroom and those are still obvious warnings.

I noticed this change when one of my tigers died as a result of wounds sustained in a fight. The poor guy was only six years old! Normally I'd get the 'red paw' so I knew to take action immediately and take out the now-adult animals to prevent them from fighting, but now I just have to either keep the timeline active in my screen (annoying as heck) or keep my eye on the timeline notifications (which is also annoying as heck; I have better things to do honestly). PLEASE REVERT THIS CHANGE! I don't mind herbivores fighting for alpha status - to me that's natural behavior, especially when the alpha grows older - but with tigers and other animals you can only keep in breeding pairs to prevent fighting it's very frustrating. As I said I already lost a beautiful white tiger to this unnecessary change. Change. It. Back. Pleeeeease!

[Edit]
Why can't they just give us the option to configure which alerts we think are important and which are not? I for one don't care about a shop being without a vendor for a long time (or less anyway) than I do about animals fighting and giving birth. Just give us more toggle options instead of the generic 'notified of births/deaths'.

I have to agree, I also dislike it the way it is now. I have so much going on in my bigger zoos, my timeline is often pretty much delayed aswell. And I am hardly taking a look at it anyways... so I really hope the fight notifications will be moved back to the alerts.

This is pretty much the only change I hate about the new update.

You bring up a good point: the delay in the timeline. Or the amount of notifications in the timeline, that 'push' the more important ones (like fighting) down way too fast.

Ye, and it doesn't show where the problem is as clearly as it did with the notifications. But it seems we wont get an answer from Frontier about this :( sucks, as I really dislike this change :(
