Not sure about the ranking triggering working properly.

My Trading ranking has seemed to work fairly logically with the ranks increasing according to my trading network, volume of trade and net-worth.
However, the combat seems a little screwy to me.....

I don't see how or why there has been no progression since attaining master back at c.1,239 bounty kills and with 30+M in bounty payments.
All of my kills are legitimate kills with a broad spectrum of ranks and ship types.

I am also a bit confused about Assassination missions. I have over 1M in "profits" from assassinations but the assassination count is still "0"????
You don't get the money unless you complete the mission, so this is clearly wrong. You cannot have the assassination rewards without the kills that go with it.

Not sure this is working as it should be. Am I wrong?

The assassination count is bugged and is slated to be fixed. Combat ranking is on kill numbers not profit, and apparently higher rated ships give greater gains. Also, if you use a KWS you may get 2 or 3 bounties, but for rank it is only one kill. But you don't have that number. In combat zones one kill is is one bond so easier to keep track of.

I have read rumours that the rank requirements have doubled, which would really upset me as earlier pilots had it easier, and it isn't an exploit so why change it. But no numbers so we don't know for sure. There are several long threads if you do a search.
