my game is not showing the leading crosshairs anymore.

Yo know the small circle that travels slightly ahead of the targets trajectory to show you where u need to shoot to land a hit.

is that a bug?

Check your functions tab and make sure your targeting mode is set to leading. Other than that did you change weapon types recently?

Did you by any chance pop into training and back to full game? I find that screws up settings in the right panel. Like orbit lines switch back on.

Which fixed weapons? Lasers won't use a leading crosshair, AFAIK. I think the lead for fixed weapons applies to multicannons, etc.., not lasers.

thats what im thinking. but that makes no sense why have a lead indicator for a gun that tracks for itself? and no lead indicator for one that doesnt?

can anybody confirm?

I just remembered that multicannons use a lead, because of the projectiles. I don't think lasers need it, but I could be wrong.

that would explain things.

yes of course lazers travel at C or at least near C. no leading required. duh i feel stupid now
