so i died in my srv, at the new alien site. the problem is it's really easy to lose track of the dmg you gain from the ua/up/ul,

what happened was that i could not eject the items out of my srv cause of the cargo hatch not being usable, thus melting everything, died from lack of life support,
and on top of that i could not get into my ship because of the glitch with the ua/up/ul at the site ....... come on...... really
so what do i do now. do i make a report asking for a srv and items back. i did make it to the ship, but it dint let me in, kept crashing. this death was not really caused by me,

advise guys....ps fdevs we need a way to repair srv modules

Happened to me too, after driving around for a while my life support was down and I had 5 minutes to get out the base, drive 2.5 km away and recall my ship. I didn't make it. Oddly enough, after getting a new srv at Maia and flying back, I got into my SRV again and the unknown artifact and probe were back in my SRV. I thought they had blown up with the srv, but apparently a bug had put them back in. For once, this was a bug that helped me out as I could now show another commander how to activate the machine.

Did you try repair/reboot? Did you try to relog? Usually teleports you just outside the Alien facility boundary.

yes i did look for reboot, there is none that i can see in srv

but i did get back to the ship, the glitch would keep crashing me, and cargo hatch would not let me chuck out the items.... soooo not really my fault (right)

My life support got toasted by it, luckily I survived. Lesson learned? KEEP TRACK OF THE DAMAGE! It's up to you of you want to carry corrosive materials around to pay attention to the DAMAGE it causes.
So death is on you and also why do you make such a big deal about it? You died in an SRV which costs like 500Cr to Restock

but I'm sick and tired of moaners who moan about there own mistakes. mistakes is how you learn the more you make the more you learn! now I :x

i got to the ship. so mr know it all, what did i not do right!!!!! it would not let me into my own ship. at this point i think your only here to troll

yup i know bud, i hope fdev will help us on this one, with everyone running around that new site in there srv, this applie's to them all , just know that if your cargo hatch is messed up you cant chuck stuff out, there's no reboot/repair, and you cant board your ship. in my case i had all three, and not being able to do a repair/reboot i was not able to get the hatch to work again, leading to a life support failure, thus my death, now if i could get onto my ship, there would have been no problem, unless it was a too much cargo issue. but even with that, it was still crashing to main menu.. soooooo i was boned from every way possible , lesson learned,, but ya fdev plz for the love of god fix that

The inside of the alien structure has an ammonia-based atmosphere. When you drop them they do not lose any hull like jettisoning them in deep space. I haven't had any problems with modules, but it would be nice if we could get AFMUs or CRCR racks for SRVs.

Doesn't the SRV repair synthesis also patch the subsystems? If yes then just use that from time to time when you are running around with dangerous cargo. If not,then that may be something for FD to ponder on, or a new synth recipe for SRV internal repair.

Probably a similar bug like the one that crashes the game when you transfer UA or UP to your SRV.

If you have video raise a ticket, they will reimburse you and maybe give you back and UP and UA, because the game crashing is NOT YOUR FAULT, despite what everyone is trying to tell you in this thread, even if they have fancy signatures.
