Notable stellar phenomena missing/removed from Sanguineous Rim region?

Since I got new FSD's, decided to take a small scenic trip, to tag with "firstfall" on some of my old finds in that region.. before someone else would.

Aint been in that region since last time when exploration was overhauled to current state or in other words, since when we could tag systems with "first mapped"...

Back then, I remeber bunch of stellar phenomena that was on some of systems(finded by me), when I visited them 2nd time to order to map them. Oddly enough, the codex back then was just relased, and it did not register properly, despite finding stuff wich was not listed on it yet, of course it was fixed few weeks later(long time after trip ended), but my none entries (any at Sanguineous Rim) from that time never made into codex..

But yesterday, much of my suprise, at 3nd visit after few years, there is no trace of stellar phenomena on those systems anymore. Not only those NSP got missing from systems discovered by myself, at codex itself, there also is only and one system "reported" in entire region that supposed to have proto lagrange cloud, so I went there as well, to see if I can find a Notable stellar phenomena elsewhere.

Nope, even at system from codex, was no trace of it. Of course I checked horizons version as well, to see if thats could oddysey issue. But on horizons no trace of NSP as well.

So my question is... have anyone found Notable stellar phenomena in oddysey?

Sure, plenty of them.

However, they seem to spawn quite often in some regions and not spawn at all in others. There was one region in Norma Expanse where I kept finding them every several jumps. But I found zero phenomenae since then.

Unfortunately, it's a well-known bug that some NSPs in some regions fail to register properly in the Codex. When a player scans them, they see it pop up in their own Codex, but others won't see it globally. After that, it'll be gone from the player's own Codex the next time they log in (or some other time, I can't quite recall when) as well.

Frontier have fixed a few instances of these over time, but others have still been present for years. (Ever since they were introduced in 2018. Dec.) See this thread for an incomplete list.

Oh, and my bad, I misread some of that: sure, there are some cases of NSPs having gone missing as well. Some others have changed, too. These were way before Odyssey, however, sometime in early 2019. They still stayed in the Codex though: this (and a bug with Sagittarius A*) makes it impossible to do a 100% completion of the Codex, too.

This explain it all I needed to know. I guess things changed over the years. Not really expected to bump into NSP problem not until decided to visit some backyard systems with my tag, but in elite anything can happen, and its what driven me here.

Your thread schould be on sticked on front page, thats hell lot of usefull info about codex.

Nah, even if it were an actual possibility (I don't think it would), I'd really rather they didn't. If somehow the thread was stickied, then I'd feel I'd have to fill it out more, as it's incomplete - and frankly, I don't care about it enough to keep track of all the bugs with the Codex and NSPs and actively seek out which ones I haven't added to that list yet. The developers should be aware of the bugs by now, see this CM post; for players, the list should provide enough information about what kinds of bugs to expect, new stuff would just be further specific examples.
