Engineers Note of appreciation

Without going into a life story, In the beginning, God created...

Okay, maybe I'll fast-forward a couple of thousand years past creation.

I'm a solo player and yes, I enjoy it. It was a long run building credits for a real exploration ship, so much so that I grew tired of the mission and npc-kill-fest (I really thought I would like mining. ...I don't.) and quit for a few months. Popped back in a few weekends ago to continue the struggle towards a big ol' FSD and finally got the money I needed with a few lucky high value delivery missions. Of course, once you blow the wad on a big piece of equipment, now you have to be able to afford insurance. Well, back to the grind to afford a few losses if I stray too far out or get into an interdiction I can't get out of. Just then, this update arrives and my first mission is a very high value refugee transfer.

In only a few days of playing, I've done refugee transfers and adventure sightseeing runs which have been pretty lucrative (for me anyway). I think I'm at the point where I can leave to begin exploration in earnest. Aside from that, I have been impressed with the variety of things to do now and the things that get you out into the world with nearly guaranteed pay.

Really enjoying the patch.

Sincerely,

Lonely in Haxel Port
