Nothing Changed. Killed countless pirates.

Before I post this I will say that FD's greatest feat in this game is that space battles are very enjoyable, enough that for some reason I don't get bored of it, even though I have done it for at least 100 hours of my game time

probably close to 70%. Though I am starting to notice something. When I first got the game in October before release I noticed that stealing kills on wanted ships at nav beacons made me pretty good profit, and required little

skill, my sidey just waited until a ship was beneath 30% hull and started to help and got all the money. I went up the progression, eagle, viper, cobra, got easier, yet I didn't know about RES's so Bounties started to become not so

high paying so I went to trade, got a type 6 trade grinded for 15 hours while listening to audiobooks, made around 20 mil, wanted to kill myself because I boosted, crashed and lost 100k on insurance and 1.7 mil on cargo of imp

slaves. Never traded again. Then after 1.3 (I know took me a while) I learned that pirates existed at RES's and now there were HIGH intensity one's which for the first day were, until the bug of hamless only happened but prior to

that I bought a courier and made 20 mil and got a vulture fully outfitted without dipping into my trade money. once I figured out how to reset instance I killed many space pirates in arissa space, all in the same system, same Hi

res, for 90 million credits, I'd say the average bounty was 110k after kws and 50% increase when I turn the bounties in, that makes about 800 pirates, and their are only4factions in the system so that is 200 each, yet the factions

never got mad at me, I am ALLIED with 2 of them and unfriendly with the other 2, not hostile, despite my murdering of them, also the pirates keep coming back and scanning me in my python moments before I smear the stupid

NPC's across time and space. Nothing has changed in the system at all. No npc's have interdicted me for killing their pirate friends, nothing. WHY? If I murdered 200 people in a rival gang with bounties on their heads, you'd think

they would team up and try to stop me. Also, this is a High security system, but I don't think that means anything because there are infinite amount of pirates, they are endless. This makes no sense to me, I can understand it that

their are a lot of people in the game trillions, but you would think that they wouldn't pirate right in front of security patrols and bounty hunters, and never do anything to the bounty hunters, It would be a lot cooler if there were

missions generated by the independent factions to kill me, and it could be taken by players or Npc's, then If you make it so being interdicted hurts your FSD and Drives a bunch so it is harder to run along with your drives being

destroyed makes you go slower rather than being stuck a 350 m/s which makes it pretty easy to run, you go faster this way(who thought of going faster without engines at FD I don't get it.) This would add a huge element to the

game, I understan the problem that if the universe changed for everyone with just a little bit of killing someone did it would be crazy and eventually it would even out because everyone has that mush influence, but this way it

changes a lot but mainly for you. players and npc outlaws know hunt you for the reward, it would make the galaxy much more alive this way and it would also encourage pvp through missions, this would work for player outlaws,

military, traders, everyone who is hurting a minor faction for an extended period of time.

Tl;DR
Nothing changes no matter what you do, missions for npc's and players should generate when you hurt a minor faction, whether it is pirating , bhing, anything that hurts a faction should make you become a target right know the player bounty system isn't very useful, or rewarding, and is for a small group of people with large bounties, their should be more missions to encourage fighting that makes the galaxy feel more alive.

Thanks if you read this whole post as a reminder I still enjoy ED a lot, and want to see new great features added, any feedback is wanted

Awesome idea ! It makes sense you already have missions asking you to steal loot and smuggle so why not have the less moral factions deploy npc pirate assassin wings against bothersome bounty hunters.

Would be awesome to see wings of 3 npcs hunt the hunter if he becomes too notorious and upsets a faction too much.

Bounty hunters have it too easy as the apex predator of elite IMO and I'm sure they will relish the challenge ;)

In 1.2 after a while at a res the local pirate faction would send wings into the res that would kill on sight. Is this no longer true. Havent done much res after 1.3 as they were pretty empty unless you reset and reset and I dont like this a a game mechanic. Missions are paying better if you dont mind blood on your hands.

I don't know whether it's dependent upon the type of system you're in but I have seen missions calling on me to deal with an Avian Infestation (Bounty Hunters) in an adjacent system - usually from one of the criminal factions. There are also missions to terminate specific NPC's. I wonder if similar missions would be generated against you when your rep with a criminal faction drops to unfriendly or hostile? I've never stayed long enough in a specific system to find out! The mission structure exists to do what you suggest and allow criminals to place a bounty on your head, so why not :)
