Nothing new and interesting... game is becoming worse.

Ok, I waited for this 1.3 patch, I really looked forward to it, but I don't like how they ruin the game. Im so frustrated that I want to scream. I payed 500.000 Cr for repairing my fighter ship, what a hell. No longer full money back when trying out weapons, so if they adding no full refund when selling weapons, give us the option to keep weapons in a storage of some kind. The world is very boring, no voice-acting, nothing. NPCs always say the same thing. All my friends left this game because they couldn't stand it anymore, now Im all alone in this game and I feel the same frustration that they do. Elite dangerous... dangerous, well what is dangerous in this game? Nothing. It is a walk in the park and just time consuming game, never feel that something is rewarding except doing 1.000.000 cargo runs to buy an anaconda, that was rewarding when bought the damn ship, then noticed that parts of the ship cost about 150.000.000 Cr, so I need to do a couple of hundred cargo runs again to buy the rest... that. Game is not finished, can't land on planets, can't walk around in a space station or anything of that sorts... you are trapped in a cockpit and even though you have more passager seats, your friends can't sit there, game is not finished, this game needs a few years.

Supercruising is such a boring thing about this game, well it's fun a while but it gets so old, it's buggy as hell too. Ship accelerate for no reason and speeds up, even though speed was set to 50%, just accelating, watching the meter go nuts and you overshoot for no reason. If people want the damn super cruise mode, let them enable it, but for the rest of the people who are tired of it, let us turn it off. Select a destination, a planet, a station or a nav beacon, or what ever you want to go, initate jump, charging, seeing an effect like a tunnel of speed, then boom you there, same as traveling to another system. When traveling to another system, let everyone warp in to the nav beacon area, so people can still wait there for someone to rob or what ever.

Well, I like 1.3, I like supercruise as well. Its not buggy, it speeds up and slows down due to planetary and solar gravity. Wlaking round is coming, as are planetary landings. Have patience young Obi Wan.

disagree. 'nuf said. Don't get me wrong it's not perfect but seriously, did you really have to share this with us? I mean, why? It's such a ... troll-y kind of thing to write.... try being constructive, pick out what doesn't work, analyse why, then write a post. Just complaining is tiresome... and one more thing:

no voice acting: Yay!!! Rejoice!!!! (voice acting in a game like this? you really want to hear the same badly acted lines a million times? You think you're bored of reading the text based messages.... wow, wait until you've listened to them....)

This is the biggest missunderstanding of the game.

Either I am wrong, and I somehow got completely the wrong end of the stick DB et al were selling the game in interviews,

OR

some of the people trying to force competitive PvP have gotten it wrong about the primary purpose of the MP in ED being adversarial as opposed to co-operative.

AFAIK PvP in ED is meant to be possible, but outside of certain specific areas it is meant to be rare. funnelling everyone into a single point to force PvP =/= making it rare imo.

Totally disagree with OP and agree that this sort of whiny, unconstructive post is pointless - why would anyone want to read it? I certainly didn't finish it. Now go and play something else and leave the rest of us to enjoy the best game out there ;)

For the jumping, Robert Maynard nailed it. Wait in super cruise if you want to hunt. I found the mission changes nice, no longer haystacks, and the AI delivered some nice surprises, had fun there. The art is rewarding, one of the best space environments I have experienced, but until there are a lot more things to do with credits it will feel like a ship grind, sorry.
Supercruise is your fault, humans cant fly at lightspeed, ask Han Solo about it.

Troll post me thinks,
seems as the OP has taken things from old posts he has read that has since been fixed and not played the current version of the game,

Maybe troll maybe not, masked swearing removed so obviously is annoyed or doesn't know the forum rules but im going to categorically answer anyway: You are wrong.

1) Repair costs have been re-adjusted, it was a bug.
2) You DO get full refund selling weapons, that did not make it into 1.3
3) The game is more dangerous than ever with the NPC upgrades, phase 2 of upgrades is coming too. Try going exploring with no shields or weapons and come back to the bubble with 2 months of gameplay to potentially loose.
4) Yes the game isn't finished, I can't think of anything better to write here than you should really have known when you bought it, come back later.

Onto the Anaconda, why is that ship your target? is it because it is simply the most expensive and you can't figure out another good "goal/target" for your game? Its an MMO, set yourself challenges, use an ounce of imagination or read on the forums/reddit about other people. Decide how you want to play. Im saying this a lot recently but if you simply grind for the most expensive stuff you'll find the experience about as fulfilling as being shot in the face. Find something you enjoy in the game, join a player group, go exploring, roleplay a smuggler or pirate.

Re-read the manual on supercruise, your top speed is relative to the closest object. Right next to a huge star, well your top speed is 0.15C, on the way to Hutton orbital with nothing around, 2000C. Simply learn the game mechanics before you say there is no reason for its actions, its all logical really.
Also the "turn it off for those who are tired", yeah good luck doing that on an online MMO, how exactly is that ever going to function when different people do/don't have a central game mechanic... The "tunnel of speed" hides a loading screen so is necessary.

Finally I actually agree with the last point, where there is a Nav beacon the incoming hyperspace ship traffic should drop into normal space around there. Not perfectly on top of it but in a sphere of say 6km away from the centre (lets not make it too easy for pirates).
The only issue with this is that it slows the game even more and may lead to problems in busy systems and community goals.

I think the fact that many mission targets can be found in SC has spiced things up for me. I added an Interdictor to my load out, and I have been chasing the bad guys out of the skies. The Interdiction mini-game has improved things for me.

indeed. for me 1.3 bought in the reason to try out a shiny new interdictor, and it is great fun. It ultimately meant I finally had a reason to have a purpose built combat ship to add to my collection.

Right now I have zero interest in powerplay (I am not knocking it I will come back to one day maybe) but even without it there is still heaps to do in the game imo. Currently I am spending some time mining and it is great. No interest in combat, simply keep out in the sticks, but there is a lot of money to be made if you mix it up in a high intensity RES.

Give us the option to keep weapons in a storage of some kind.
Would be nice, but where to store it?
If it's not ON the ship, it should at least be IN it, taking up cargo space.Or in station storage, just like a stored ship. So yeah.. why not.

The world is very boring, no voice-acting, nothing. NPCs always say the same thing.
Yep. Could use some improvement.
For one: why haven't passenger missions been implemented yet? It's taking far too long.
Same for new ships. Too little too late especially for the backers who have been playing this game from the start and are all flying conda's already.

Elite dangerous... dangerous, well what is dangerous in this game?
Play on open.
Pirates are roaming the community goal systems.
Exciting and dangerous enough imo.

Ship accelerate for no reason and speeds up, even though speed was set to 50%, just accelating
Dude... seriously?
In ED, the ship's drives react big time to changes in gravity. You're flying near another space body.
It's supposed to work like this.

If people want the damn super cruise mode, let them enable it, but for the rest of the people who are tired of it, let us turn it off. Select a destination, a planet, a station or a nav beacon, or what ever you want to go, initate jump, charging, seeing an effect like a tunnel of speed, then boom you there
ok.. after reading this, it seems you simply don't like this franchise.
Elite without these types of interstellar travel simply isn't Elite.

Absolutely agree with this point in particular OP. As you mentioned, this is v1.3, so you have to appreciate that there is a long way to go before ED can be thought of as "finished". ED still needs some bugs fixing, and perhaps FD will crush them well before v2.0! The problem was with FD for saying that ED was "complete" on 16 December 2014, when it clearly wasn't, with people expecting all sorts to have been implemented (myself included). It has been quite disheartening to have played since PB and see this beautiful looking game slowly become a joke (PP, CQC). It is my hope that FD will now start to look at immersion and the emergence of a living and breathing galaxy, rather than allow the stagnant look and feel to stations in particular. (IMO, PP does nothing to improve ED or its immersion!)

Well, this clearly is not the game for you, which is fine of course.
But I have to say that aside from not understanding the way this game is developed as a long term project, you do not seem to get several of the gaming mechanics either.
Perhaps you should try some other space sim. SC perhaps or the X games?
