Nothing new and interesting... game is becoming worse.

Absolutely agree with this point in particular OP. As you mentioned, this is v1.3, so you have to appreciate that there is a long way to go before ED can be thought of as "finished". ED still needs some bugs fixing, and perhaps FD will crush them well before v2.0! The problem was with FD for saying that ED was "complete" on 16 December 2014, when it clearly wasn't, with people expecting all sorts to have been implemented (myself included). It has been quite disheartening to have played since PB and see this beautiful looking game slowly become a joke (PP, CQC). It is my hope that FD will now start to look at immersion and the emergence of a living and breathing galaxy, rather than allow the stagnant look and feel to stations in particular. (IMO, PP does nothing to improve ED or its immersion!)

FD has never said Elite was 'complete', they just said it was ready for release. While I considered buying this game I did some investigating. I was not surprised at all by what was delivered. I felt like FD was up front and open about the state of the game at release. If you don't care to do any searches or reading, you can come to the wrong conclusions.

Sorry about that rage post, just frustrated cuz everyone left I think. Didn't know they didn't implement the 90% sell thingy. and I wasn't aware of that there was a bug in the repair. Still hate the supercruise bugs tho. If they made supercruise more responsive and better acceleration and deacceleration I think it would be much more fun. I do sometimes enjoy supercruise but not so much as before :/. I will give the game some time . Thanks for all respons though

Almost didn't want to bump this back up because the title of the thread is a bit of a downer but...


tell your mates to come back. I listened to a 3-hour discussion between Drew and some others on YouTube yesterday. One of those participants is supposedly very close to the developers and from the way he was talking, there is some very very cool stuff coming up soon. Also, with the rumours of an imminent Thargoid invasion (speculation of course!), I think we may soon have *too much* to do


I'm very excited about the future of Elite: Dangerous.
