Notification emails for the community site

Hey Zac and / or any other Community Team Members,

I know up until last week I was up to date on all developments as I received an email with the latest newsletter regularly. While I understand that cancelling the newsletter (formatted for HTML in an email) saves a lot of time/work for the community team @ Frontier, I know I'll miss things now that we have to go to the community site for updates.

Could I ask for a notification email to be sent to me whenever the Community site is updated?

Just:

"Something new has been posted" in the title and a link to the community site main page would do. Then if I'm busy, I can refer back to the email at a convenient time. Make it an opt-in service, of course, so others are not bothered. The way my brain is wired, I'll never remember to go and check otherwise. A little reminder in my Inbox will be all I need.

The email for the newsletter was only temporarily halted last week for a server move, IIRC.

As a stop-gap you could try using the RSS feed.

But I agree an email notification would be nice (even if there's not much on there ).

Im sure i read recently that it only effected this newsletter, all others will go through the proper channels of being emailed. Id give you the link if i could remember which post it was however if i recall it was in one of the stickied threads.
