Nova Imperium Galnet Article musings

I mean, how long till Hudsons election? How long does Mahon have?
Hudson's automatic vote of confidence would be four years after his election, so June 1 next year. If he survives that (looks fairly likely given the absence of meaningful opposition from Winters so far, but there's still time for a crisis to bring him down), he would have to step down on June 1 3309.

Mahon's theoretical term limit is six years, but I can't find exactly when he took office - if it wasn't long before his first public mention in Galnet, then he could probably stay in office until December 3306 or so without needing to seek re-election.

A few big questions about that lore line...

1) Why Anders Blaine, wich is still the Chancellor of the Empire never take the initiative to hold a Press conference on behalf of Emperor Arissa? I understand it's quite his job...
2) Why Anders Blaine is still chancellor of the Imperial Throne after he was suspected to be connected to Empire Dawn 3 years ago???
3) Why the Senate pretends that those lunatics from Nova Imperium has commited no crime?... To try to remove the Emperor is already an act of high Treason... What are they waiting to jugde, condemn and execute that Mordanticus???

The main point is that. Nova Imperium pretends to represent a traditionnalist view of the Empire, but they intend to sow the seeds of discord amongs the Empire and to remove THE Imperial dinasty that is still in power for almost 985 years... They are rogue lunatics like those scums from Empire's Dawn 3 years ago. I do agree with that vision of Empire first and "Make the Empire great again!", they may pressure the throne in that direction, but high treason must be punished by death, Mordanticus must be executed.

Replacing Arissa would require FDEV to actually TOUCH power play, and we know that won't ever ******* happen.

Any replacement of the Emperor in the Prismatic Emperium would require that she have (1) a cute derriere and (2) sparks that come from her fingers. Not going to grind for some old biddy that looks like a prune.

Those are good insightful questions....

The sad answer is “it doesn’t matter” as the ongoing lore in the game has no impact on gameplay and absolutely no consequence to players.

Actually I dont think we still have "THE Imperial dinasty that is still in power for almost 985 years."

And with the election of Arrssa we have already established the Senates ability to Appoint an Emperor

I have seen that thread earliest this year. I didnt remember it . It's quite interesting. So Anders Blaine is the real ruler and Emperor Arissa is nothing but a puppet. So now that group, Nova Imperium they goes maybe against Blaine, or that, HM Arissa LD doent want to be a puppet anymore and wants to rule... Therefore, Blaine is not happy with the situation and needs a new puppet that will let him keep rullling as Chancellor. I wonder what event will be related to that in the new update. They have something in mind.
