Nova Navy is a group dedicated to supporting Nova Imperium, the official story-based faction formed in 3304. We are currently recruiting both new and experienced pilots to assist with our BGS efforts to push the storyline along.
Nova Imperium was formed in 3304 by Imperator Mordanticus, a respected ex-Navy admiral. He sought to restore the Empire to it's former strength and spoke of how the Empire has been weakened by it's support of the military group Aegis, which has repeatedly escalated the human-Thargoid conflict and failed to defend Imperial citizens from their retaliation. He had also discovered a long-lost heir to the Imperial Throne, Hadrian Augustus Duval, and quickly gained support with calls to cut ties with Aegis and make Hadrian the heir to the throne.
The Emperor ignored these calls and instead attempted a brutal massacre of Imperial citizens, publicly executing Mordanticus along with all other captured members, and mass arrests of those who had supported members. However, Hadrian Duval and members based in Paresa were able to escape the purge.

Aegis were meant to protect us and they have done the opposite. We ask that any commanders who wish to resist Aegis and restore the Empire will join us and our cause.
