November 17th 2016 .. Will be the day

Sounds ambitious, I hope we don't have to wait too long for all the features planned after the release (there are maany of them, devs have talked about)

If any of the features they have spoken about are released after the official release I feel that they have done it wrong. If they release with everything they have stated would be released than fair enough.

They have stated that Woodies for instance may not be in till release or even after so with them pre-warning months in advance that is fair enough.

Stuff has not been discussed and I can see us not receiving water rides upon release with the "no information" on it even based on what is planned for Alpha 3 that we are aware of.

I made a note that it appears ambitious also though but I feel positive at the moment and my criticism above and in the other thread may just be based on other developers and releasing a date so early before we have given any feedback on the Alpha 3 stage. I could understand if it was a month after though that they released the date.

Yes indeed, altough i kinda wonder if some might have been implemented already ...

UGC -> planned after release, but since the game is on Steam now and can use the Steam workshop, it might be implemented before release??

Dark Rides -> Were supposed to come after release, but since we have lighting in "tunnels" now, thats a MAJOR step towards darkrides. So we might have darkrides at release maybe? (in a very basic form)

Besides those 2, what else was said to be implemented after release?

Actually im much more curious about stuff they say would make it -before- release. There are many things we have yet to see (water, water rides, different coastertypes (Hybrid, wood, etc...etc), stalls, transport rides, tracked rides, special track elements for coasters, omnimovers)

All of the above have been confirmed to be implemented for the release, yet there is a LOT we haven't seen yet. So i wonder very much how much we will get with Alpha 3. Guess the rest will be saved for Beta/Release.

Sounds fairly ambitious, I was expecting December at the earliest, if at all this year.

Hope they're not rushing it for Christmas at the expense of quality/gameplay/content/gamebreaking bugs at release.

I think Darkrides are planned for release!

I hope so!!

It also greatly comes down to what you define as a "darkride".

Cheshire cats have been confirmed combine that with the "indoor landscape lighting" and we pretty much have a basic darkride.
(just hope we then get custom music, ride events and preferrably make it dark when you are in a building as well.)

I don't think so. Like i have said before, we have no clue on how much content they have finished already.
There is no saying they release everything thats ready in the alpha stages [happy]

I said before, Teacups, Revolve, certain stalls... those were all in the release trailer and looked like they were pretty much finished. Ofcourse that doesn't mean they are, but i can also imagine they have a lot of stuff 98% done. In the last few month's they just do some finishing touches and then there might be a lot of content ready to be released.

What we have right now is by no means any indication to what will be ready at release i think...we just don't know [happy]

My only concern is whether there will actually be a 'game' in there somewhere.

From all the descriptions we have had so far it doesn't seem like it. By 'game' I mean scenarios ala RCT3, if its just build with a basic sim behind it, I will be very disappointed.

This is my concern as well. The game looks like it will be a wonderful sandbox, but where are all the tycoon elements? Where is the strategy? Is there a fail state at all? I hope that the gameplay has much more depth than what we have seen so far. I get bored very quickly without a challenge, no matter how amazing the graphics are (and I say that as an artist).

I don't doubt that they can add it all in, but this deadline seems like it will demand a rush. The devs have exceeded all expectations so far though, so I will try to remain optimistic.

Seems to be once again people are getting overly concerned for no reason. As Vampiro says there is a LOT they haven't shown us and in the coming days/weeks/months any worries we have will no doubt be put at ease [up]

Yeah, where is this coming from? We know there are scenarios and/or a campaign of some sort. We know there's going to be management in the game. They've talked about this stuff, it just hasn't been shown yet. Alpha 2 introduced money so we know they're working on it behind the scenes and aren't just trying to cram it all in before release. Alpha3 may introduce a few more things or maybe not. Either way, we know it's being worked on and it is definitely coming.

didnt you know alpha 3 is the last update and then the game is complete... anything else that gets added in will have to be through mods [wacky]
