now classed as hostile after saving and logging off

so i docked at a federation station, nothing wrong with my rep with them, logged back in and i am now hostile, anyone else experienced something like this? (the only think i can think of is siding in a war zone, but i sided with the federation, so i dont understand how that could make me hostile to the federation).

Perhaps you logged off and let a key mission expire that saw you end up with stolen cargo? Or perhaps it was an expired assassination mission - the straw that broke the camel's back?

I had that happen in beta 3, but in my case, it was a late gold delivery. I was trying to make it, but the timer expired seconds before I arrived, so I didn't only fail the mission, I also got scanned with ~30 tons of stolen gold. I was still friendly with them when I logged off, but hostile when I logged back in - guess it took a relog to update my standings or the update interval is just a bit long.

Me too. Same exact thing. Was friendly with feds, no missions to attend, logged off. Next day logged on and I found myself hostile with feds. I thought I had done something wrong, but now that's two of us, and i'll fire a ticket... just... now... done!
